Dujat was founded in 1984 by a group of companies that primarily wanted to stimulate export of Dutch products to Japan. Since then Dujat’s objective has developed into strengthening overall economic relations between the Netherlands and Japan. In order to achieve this objective Dujat stimulates and assists Dutch companies to develop business in Japan or with Japanese companies and supports Japanese companies in developing co-operation with Dutch companies in both the Netherlands and Japan as well as in other countries.
We provide an extensive network in both The Netherlands and Japan, including the Dutch ministries, embassies, semi-governmental institutes, and international companies. Our senior representative maintains excellent contacts with the Japanese authorities, Keidanren (the Japanese employers’ organisation with more than 1300 affiliated companies), Keizai Doyukai (Japanese Organisation of Corporate Executives). The Dujat Advisory Board, consisting of Japanese top executives, supplies smooth and direct access to the highest levels of various organisations and companies.
Every year Dujat organises member meetings, seminars, network meetings, the annual golf tournament for its members. In addition, custom-made workshops on how to do business in Japan are offered. Members can approach the secretariat anytime with practical questions in relation to Japan. If you would like to find out more about the opportunities for your company as well as our network, you can always contact us and make an appointment.
