The Deshima Netherlands Awards were introduced in 2007 by DUJAT and the Netherlands Foreign Investment Agency (NFIA). The awards are held every two years, recognizing successful Japanese companies in the Netherlands in two categories, ‘well-established’ and ‘new-comer’. A judging panel assessed each company based on the following criteria: national and regional economic impact, innovation, sustainability, community relations and interaction with the Dutch business community and investments made in the Netherlands.
Music is a tradition at the DUJAT dinner. This time, we invited an internationally renowned Japanese-Dutch Jazz duo: pianist Atzko Kohashi and bassist Frans van der Hoeven. During the fabulous concert, we enjoyed the great kimono mode show of Mamechiyo, contemporary kimono artist / designer /stylist. See more pictures to click here.
