It has been more than a year since the disaster at Japan’s Fukushima nuclear plant.

This time, DUJAT invited Mr. Masataka Miyanaga, the owner of MIASJO in Amsterdam as a speaker.

In March 2011, he moved to the Netherlands from Japan together with his family to escape wide-spread, long lasting radiation risk at Fukushima nuclear plant and he decided to stay in the Netherlands until the environmental situation recovers.

Mr. Miyanaga will tell you why he has decided to esc
ape his fatherland. Although the Japanese Industry quickly recovered from the damage of the earthquake and tsunami, his story also raises a question of continuous fear and uncertainty for Japanese residents in Japan.

Mr. Miyanaga has a unique specialization: his is a music critic, music journalist, and his activities including so called the “Beatles University”, where he is president and professor will be also interesting to DUJAT members. Mr. Miyanaga gives a lecture-shows,  is a radio DJ and published books and articles about the Beatles in Japan. He even interviewed Paul McCartney, Yoko Ono and Sean Lennon and published the book called “Beatles University” in Japan. In another words, a unique personality!
