[2020-11-30] Future Food Tech Webinar: Japan meets Wageningen, the Silicon Valley of Foods

This event is for invitees only. If your company is member of Dujat, please contact our office
and we will send you the invitation.
We are pleased to invite you to attend the Future Food Tech Webinar on Monday 30 November. The event is organized in collaboration with Oost NL – East Netherlands Development Agency which is home to many established agtech businesses, as well as several Japanese organizations.

We invite you to join us online, learn about the innovations and technologies for the future, and to get inspired by smart entrepreneurs who collaborate with top-class research institutes, and startups to develop new smart agriculture solutions.

Both in Japan and the Netherlands there is a serious shortage of labor due to a decreasing and ageing farming population. Also less young people decide to become a farmer. For these reasons there is a need for new smart farming technologies.

And, did you know that tiny country and agricultural giant in-one – The Netherlands- is changing the way we farm? Many of these smart agriculture innovations arise in the international ecosystem around Wageningen with the number 1 Food and Agriculture University and an ideal mix of multinationals, small and medium enterprises, startups, and research institutes.

In this webinar you will e-meet the main players of this unique agtech ecosystem: Wageningen University and Research, The Dutch agricultural counsellor in Tokyo, OnePlanet Research Center and the Japanese company Kubota. Of course there will also be an opportunity to ask questions at the end of the session.
