About the job

The role will include a variety of responsibilities including market research, finding new suppliers and customers, negotiating contracts, and customer service of handling any problems that may arise after a contract is fixed. The role naturally requires some travelling to the customer’s site, varying from domestic locations as well as abroad in continental Europe.

• Dealing with Non-Ferrous metal recycling and its primary metals, worldwide
• Handling customers through purchase to sales in all aspects of business,
i.e. marketing, visiting, quality checking, pricing, negotiation for purchase & sales, managing documentation, payments & profit calculation
• Taking care of existing customers & explore new customers in various countries
• Building up new items, business schemes & new flow of business
• Resolving customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions & making recommendations
• Maintaining professional & technical level of knowledge by attending educational opportunities such as short term internship training in HQ Japan or any other branches worldwide
• Reporting to management by submitting daily activities & own analytical thoughts
• Self-planning daily schedule

Our customer is a Japanese multinational trading company, aiming to be a major global
sourcing partner. They’re operating in the fields of steel, metals, recycling and food.


In order to qualify for this versatile and challenging position, required are at least the following criteria:

• Fluency in English and Russian is required
• A basic/conversational knowledge of any other European languages is preferred
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Basic knowledge of international trading, with numerical skills
• Experience in a similar position is a plus
• Teamplayer, responsible, ambitious, efficient
