DUJAT hosts the lunch on the occasion of the visit of Japanese Parliamentary delegation- 17 January, 2014

DUJAT were very proud to host the lunch meeting with the delegation of Japanese Parliamentary delegation and the former Dutch politicians.

Amsterdam, 17 January, 2014 – On the occasion of visit of Japanese Parliamentary delegation, DUJAT organised the visit to our member, Van Gogh Museum, followed by lunch.

The Japanese Parliamentary delegation was headed by Mr. Seishiro Eto (LDP), member of House of the representatives, and was consists of Mr. Takao Fujii(JRP),  Mr. Junji Suzuki (LDP)Mr. Ichiro Miyashita (LDP), and Mr. Akihiro Nishimura (LDP). (all of them are the member of House of the representatives). After the opening speech by Mr. Geert Jan Mantel, Chairman of DUJAT, Mr. Eto gave the short speech, starting with the appreciation for great support from the Netherlands after the Great Eastern Earthquake and Tsunami on 11 March, 2011. He also emphasised how they were impressed to learn the Dutch industrial‐academic‐government cooperation models as well as the modern and efficient logistics systems, agricultural industries as well as the rich ‘Life-work balance’ mentality in this country.

Mr. Lois van Tilborgh, senior curator of van Gogh Museum gave the round tour in the Museum, and the lunch was served in the Executive room of the museum. Mr. Adriaan Donszelmann, Managing Director and Jaquline Ruttgers of the Van Gogh Museum attended on behalf of the museum.  H.E. Japanese Ambassador to the Netherlands, Mr. Masaru Tsuji and Mr. Morihiro Taba were presenting on behalf of The Embassy of Japan.
