What we are

  • DUJAT was founded in 1983 by a group of companies that primarily wanted to stimulate export of Dutch products to Japan. Since then DUJAT’s objective has developed into strengthening overall economic relations between the Netherlands and Japan.
  • DUJAT provides an extensive network to its members in both The Netherlands and Japan, such as the ministries, embassies, semi-governmental institutes, and international companies.
  • DUJAT’s Japanese representative maintains excellent contacts with the Japanese authorities, Keidanren,  the Japanese employers’ organisation with more than 1300 affiliated companies, and Keizai Doyukai , Japanese Organisation of Corporate Executives.
  • DUJAT organises approximately 15 events per year, including seminars, symposium, network meetings, the annual golf tournament, company visits.  In addition, custom-made workshops can be organized for its members.
  • DUJAT members can approach the secretariat anytime with practical questions in relation to Japan or to the Netherlands.
