Last week on Thursday 19 February, GLOBIS Europe organized a seminar on Japanese Management & Leadership in the center of Amsterdam. It was very well-attended by members of Dujat and relations and students of GLOBIS, all with an interest in learning more about this interesting topic.
Japan is home to some of the world’s oldest companies and most resilient business models. What keeps them thriving across centuries? And what lessons can professionals in the Netherlands & Europe take from this unique approach to purpose-driven growth?
During the seminar, this was presented in detail by speakers Aiste Dewulf (President & CEO, GLOBIS Europe BV), Toru Takahashi (Global Chief Strategy Officer, GLOBIS Europe BV), and Kenya Irie (Graduate of GLOBIS University Graduate School of Management). They taught the audience about ‘kokorozashi‘, about the Japanese values when it comes to leadership and business philosophy, and what they do to build trust and long-term engagement.
It was an interactive seminar with presentations, a panel discussion and many questions asked by the audience during the Q&A, and with of course an opportunity for networking afterwards. Thank you very much to GLOBIS for inviting Dujat members to join your seminar, and for the flawless organization!
