| On Wednesday 14 October, the Japan Meets Brabant – Virtual Visit to Fujifilm took place. What was originally meant to be an actual visit, was turned creatively into an online event that members in both the Netherlands and Japan could enjoy.
With nearly 150 registrations the event attracted many Dujat members and BOM relations, who all could enjoy the broadcast which was moderated by Edwin Zonder and Frits Hoeve of BOM Foreign Investments, with wonderful presentations by Fujifilm: Peter Struik (President), Michiel de Hair (Open Innovation Hub Manager), Albert van Maren (Vice President) and Homare Kai (Senior Vice President of Irvine Scientific Europe). |

| Dujat (Dutch and Japanese Trade Federation) and Brabant Development Agency (BOM) are pleased to invite you to join this year’s Japan Meets Brabant event, taking place on Wednesday 14 October. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, this will be an online event that takes you on a virtual visit to the European headquarters of FUJIFILM Manufacturing Europe B.V. in Tilburg.
Broadcasted from the Open Innovation Hub Europe you will be taken on a journey through the transition that Fujifilm made over the past 25 years. From becoming market leader in photographic film, venturing into new business areas via diversification, to the latest developments in the field of healthcare and lifesciences. This transition will be explained from both a global perspective as translated to the site of Fujifilm in Tilburg, where currently a manufacturing facility for cell culturing media is being built. The program will be an interactive combination of live talks, movies and presentations. |
