On Thursday 9 November, Dujat visited the Brightlands Chemelot Campus together with LIOF, where we learned more about this technological hotspot, the Japanese residents there, the challenges of recycling and more. It was a very interesting event, with presentations by Mitsui Prime ACE and SEKISUI S-Lec, and a tour around the campus. Brightlands Chemelot Campus, Dujat and the Limburg Investment and Development Agency (LIOF) are pleased to invite you to attend our upcoming event on Thursday, 9 November, called: ‘Dujat meets Limburg: a circular chemical world’. An event focused around the innovative Brightlands Chemelot Campus which is one of the leading technological hotspots in the field of high-quality materials, chemistry, and cell science in Europe.
The Campus, together with the adjacent Chemelot Industrial Park, is the first European Circular Hub. They boost innovation and business growth in order to create complete green and circular processes by 2050. Tenants are given access to talent, knowledge, infrastructure, and entrepreneurship. This enables a vibrant community for performance materials, sustainable processes and biomedical solutions to create solutions to the global challenges in the world and support sustainable living.
The Campus and Industrial park host an array of different companies. Among them are a number of excellent Japanese companies that are well embedded in the ecosystem. During the day we will meet several of these companies in different settings.
After a warm welcome with some typical Limburg delicacies, we will dive into the story of the Brightlands campus and their open innovation concept. Several Japanese companies will share their experiences about being present on the campus and the advantages it provides them with. After this morning part a network lunch will be provided. During the lunch we will join a community gathering for all Japanese residents of the campus, an ideal place to get to know some different companies and people!
The lunch is followed by a tour over the campus. This completes a day full of innovations regarding circular chemistry.
