Yesterday we kicked off the Dujat Trip to Japan with our Meeting Before Departure, which was hosted by Marsh Japan Client Services at Atrium Amsterdam. In attendance were H.E. Mr. Hiroshi Minami, Ambassador of Japan, members of the Dujat delegation, as well as those involved with the organization of this trip, and board members of Dujat.
After a word of welcome by Mr. Hiroyasu Matsubara, Managing Director of Yakult Europe and Vice-Chairman of Dujat, we were honored to welcome H.E. Mr. Hiroshi Minami, Ambassador of Japan on stage for his speech and special video to celebrate The 425th Anniversary of Japan-Netherlands Exchange.
We then heard various introductions about parts of the programme of the trip, starting with a presentation by Ms. Willeke van der Dussen, Senior Program Manager NL Expo 2025 Osaka, to give us some more information about the World Expo which we will visit on Monday 16 June.
Then for the company visit to the HQ of Nippon Express Holdings Inc., Mr. Akihito Hattori, Deputy General Manager of Nippon Express (Nederland) B.V. gave a presentation. The presentation to further introduce our visit to the HQ of Nippon Sanso Holdings Corporation (Nippon Gases) was given by Ms. Viola van Zelst, Key Account Manager of Nippon Gases Netherlands. Lastly, Mr. Masahiro Horie, Director & President of Nikon Europe gave us a wonderful preview of our visit to Nikon Corporation Global Headquarters / Innovation Center.
Besides the company visits, explanations were also given about the Deloitte & NFIA Roundtable event on Wednesday 18 June by Mr. Stefan Verrips, Partner of Deloitte, and about the programme and practical details, by Mrs. Christa de Kemp, Managing Director of Dujat.
Last but not least, Mr. HansEric Parée, Senior Executive of Marsh Japan Client Services, gave the closing remarks, after which we concluded the event with drinks, bites and sushi. We extend our warmest gratitude to Marsh for hosting this successful meeting, and to all who contributed and attended. We look forward to a fruitful trip to Japan!
This year, the Dujat Trip to Japan will take place from 16 June – 20 June 2025.
To give an update about this trip, and to get acquainted with the delegation, we are pleased to invite you to attend the Meeting Before Departure which will be hosted by Marsh Japan Client Services at Atrium Amsterdam on Thursday 5 June.
Not only members of the delegation, but also companies involved with the organization of this trip are invited to join this meeting. On top of that we are honored to welcome H.E. Mr. Minami, Ambassador of Japan to the Netherlands who will give a speech.
