On Thursday 6 November, Rotterdam Partners introduced members of Dujat to the impressive studio of Spark Design & Innovation, housed in an industrial monument at the Merwevierhaven of Rotterdam. From industry to medical devices, and from smart technology to robotics, it was fascinating to learn about the wide range of products designed and developed at Spark, with an insightful presentation by Founding Partner/ product innovator Robert Barnhoorn.
In addition to the story of Spark itself, we learned more about their work and collaborations through detailed presentations by Marlon Drinkwaard, CEO & Founder at AquaSmartXL, and Hans van Velzen, CEO at Life Safety Products BV / Lifehammer®.
