On Tuesday the 30th of May, DUJAT organized the ‘Japanese Take Overs’ seminar on the actual theme of M&A (mergers and acquisitions), in cooperation with AON Risk Solutions and Loyens & Loeff. The seminar took place at the AON office in Amsterdam.
It was a successful event, with about 40 participants and a very interesting topic to discuss about. After the seminar, everyone shared their thoughts with each other while enjoying a few drinks.
Dear members of DUJAT,
In cooperation with AON Risk Solutions and Loyens & Loeff, DUJAT is happy to invite you to the seminar on the actual theme of M&A (mergers and acquisitions). M&A is a hot topic for many Japanese companies in expanding the business globally.
Take-over deals offer opportunities , and also create risks. Legal aspects and compliance rules form an essential part of the path to the ultimate deal. Tools are available to facilitate the parties to successfully conclude the negotiations. These tools and financial instruments can be used to analyze the risks, and to create clean-cut deals for the seller and to provide legal and financial protection for the buyer.
Experts from the legal field and the risk solutions field will guide you through this actual trend of M&A. As a result of the seminar you will have updated knowledge of the legal pitfalls , the risks and the solutions. This can support you in deal making and in advising internally.
