Oost NL & Expo 2025 Osaka

With the Kröller-Müller Museum located in the heart of the Veluwe, eastern Netherlands, it is also our pleasure to invite Mr. Fons de Zeeuw, Director International at Oost NL / East Netherlands Development Agency for a presentation.

Oost NL is currently setting up the food tech programming for next year’s World Expo 2025 in Osaka, which will be highlighted in our programme.

Future Expansion

The Kröller-Müller Museum is currently collaborating with the Japanese architect Tadao Ando for a big expansion which is expected to take place in 2025 – 2028. Besides an introduction of their museum and the Van Gogh collection, they will explain more about this special collaboration.

Tadao Ando: ‘I wish to create a cloud-like architecture that lightly covers the site. In paintings, clouds are often portrayed as an element to connect the earth and the heavenly world. I believe that this cloud-like architecture will unite the everyday world and the paradise of art and nature.’
