Joining the Dujat Trip to Japan is exclusive for Dujat members.

As of today, applications are officially open for next year’s Dujat Trip to Japan, taking place from 1 June – 5 June 2026.
Participation is limited to 2 people per company, and only for Dujat members (spouses and family members cannot join the programme and bus transport).
The opportunity to join our delegation to Japan is included in your company’s membership, so no organizational costs will be charged. Costs to be calculated are expenses such as flight, hotel, bus and train transport, lunch/dinner, etc. depending on which parts of the programme you wish to join. It is not mandatory to join every activity.
If you are interested, please make sure to apply before the deadline of 26 January 2026.
Tuesday 19 May
- Meeting Before Departure
A meeting with all delegation members and companies involved will be organized at the office of Jones Day in Amsterdam. More information and detailed programme TBD.
Monday 1 June
- Visit Daiwa House Production Plant
- Reception & Dinner at Residence CG Sandra Pellegrom
The trip will start with a visit to Daiwa House where they will show us their brand new production plant which will open early 2026. At the end of the day, we will visit the residence of Sandra Pellegrom, Consul General of the Netherlands in Osaka, for a dinner and reception.
Tuesday 2 June
- Visit Kubota Sakai Plant
- Individual Lunch in Kyoto
- Shinkansen to Tokyo
On Tuesday morning, we will visit the Kubota Sakai Plant where they will give us a factory tour. After the visit to Kubota, the bus will drive us to Kyoto where delegation members can have some time for individual lunch and sightseeing before moving on to Tokyo.
Wednesday 3 June
- Visit Kewpie Egg Hannou Plant
- NFIA & KPMG Roundtable at Teijin
We will visit the Kewpie Egg Hannou Plant on Wednesday morning for a tour and a lunch, and in the afternoon there will be a roundtable with NFIA and KPMG which takes place at the office of Teijin. The topic of the roundtable is to be announced.
Thursday 4 June
- Visit Sumitomo Heavy Industries
- Reception at Ambassador’s Residence
Thursday morning we have a visit planned to the Global R&D Centre of Sumitomo Heavy Industries in Yokosuka. The afternoon is free for your own individual appointments, and in the evening from 18:00 we will have the annual reception and dinner at the residence of the Ambassador of the Netherlands, H.E. Mr. Gilles Beschoor Plug.
Friday 5 June
- Visit Teijin Soleil
- Dinner at The Place of Tokyo
On Friday we will visit Teijin Soleil, a special subsidiary of Teijin which operates agricultural businesses focused on vegetables, roses, and phalaenopsis (a kind of orchid), as well as office support services. They aim to create employment opportunities for people with disabilities based on their unique situation. In the evening, the trip will be concluded with a dinner at The Place of Tokyo, next to the Tokyo Tower.
