Kewpie opened its European office in Amsterdam in 2014. Kewpie Corporation, its parent company, produces mayonnaise, dressing and processed food in Japan. Kewpie Group also supplies processed egg product, liquid eggs and dried egg, to food companies like bakery, ham and sausage producing companies, and milling companies in Japan. Processed egg products are used as part of the raw material. Kewt Europe creates good relations with suppliers who produce egg products in EU for supplies to Japan. Kewpie decided to start an egg business in Amsterdam since there are long trade relations between the Netherlands and Japan.
