The Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam is the place where everyone can discover and experience modern and contemporary art and design. The Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam is currently organizing a comprehensive retrospective of the work of Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama, in close collaboration with the artist and her studio. Kusama will be presented as an innovative, experimental artist who, for decades, has been pushing the boundaries of what is accepted in art and society. The exhibition will highlight the various artistic media Kusama has worked with over the years. The exhibition will open on 26 September 2026 until 17 January 2027.
