For members/invitees only. If your company is member of Dujat but you did not receive an invitation, please contact our office.

Dujat and Brabant Development Agency (BOM) are pleased to invite you to attend the upcoming event on Thursday 14 October: Japan & The Netherlands: World Leaders in Smart Maintenance, a symposium about aerospace, industry and infrastructure in the province of Brabant.

Japan and the Netherlands are in the top 3 when it comes to smart maintenance applications. Through digitization, innovation in maintenance is achieved, and thus the lifespan of devices and machines is extended. Worldwide, approximately €30 billion is spent on this, of which €2 billion is in aerospace. The rest is invested for the benefit of the manufacturing industry and infrastructure.

There is plenty of cooperation in this area, especially in North Brabant, where the high tech and aerospace industry are important drivers for smart sustainable solutions. Good examples are Toyota (Vanderlande), Canon, Yokogawa, Mitsubishi (Eneco), Omron and FUJIFILM.

The event will take place at Gate2 which is part of Aeroparc Gilze-Rijen in Brabant. As usual, Dujat will arrange bus transport for participants from Amsterdam-Amstelveen area to the venue, and back. Of course it is also possible to go by own transport.

Besides the presentations by Prof. Henk Akkermans, Professor at Tilburg University and Director at World Class Maintenance, and Albert van Maren, Vice President of FUJIFILM Manufacturing Europe B.V., there will be a tour at Gate2, where an explanation will be given about the Cyber Physical Factory and the Campione field lab. Also there will be demo’s of AR/VR (by Avans and Unit040) and flight simulation (by Daedalus Aviation Group).

The Cyber Physical Factory is a living lab environment where SMEs and knowledge institutions work together on industrial innovation projects, and consists of a modular smart assembly/production line equipped with the latest technology in the field of robotics, sensors, PLCs, Argumented Reality, Virtual Reality, digital twin and 5G.

The Campione field lab is a test installation where companies, students and knowledge institutes jointly experiment with new technologies to make maintenance predictable.
