Yesterday, AKD and Dujat co-hosted a seminar about the legal impact of ESG.
AKD’s Jeroen Pop, Thomas van Kuilenburg and Florian Dorland presented on the EU Green Deal, the CSRD (Corporate Sustainability and Reporting Directive), and the CSDDD (Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive), as well as the most recent developments regarding the agreement on the CSDDD text. They also shed light on our firm’s approach on how businesses and policies can be adapted in order to be compliant with the new regulations.

AKD and Dujat are pleased to invite you to attend a seminar on Legal Impact of Environmental, Social, & Governance (ESG) on Tuesday 16 April in Amsterdam.
The seminar will start with a general outline of the most important Green Strategy EU-legislation, the impact of ESG on businesses and how companies can prepare themselves to become compliant with the relevant legislation.
Subsequently, we would like to focus on Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence (CSDDD) and Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD). This relates to obligations for companies to conduct due diligence on, and take responsibility for human rights and environmental damage throughout their whole supply chain. In connection herewith, we could discuss compliance, the way the chain responsibility works and possible liability risks.
This seminar is open to everyone with an interest in the topic regardless of their professional background and experience. It is also fine to forward the invitation to your colleagues. We hope to see you there!
