National Essay Contest 2024: Message from the Jury

On behalf of the jury, I wish all students who will participate the best of luck. This is a great opportunity to win a trip to Japan, and to explore your knowledge of both countries, especially with a theme that plays a big role in next year’s Expo 2025 Osaka. THEME: Sustainable Mental Health and Wellbeing: Exploring Dutch-Japanese Solutions for Designing a Future Society

We invite college and university students in the Netherlands to take part in a national essay contest, organized by Dujat and Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam in an effort to strengthen the relations of the Netherlands with Japan. The winner of the contest will win a trip to Japan!

✅ Contest for college and university students in the Netherlands.
✅ Essays may be submitted by Bachelor’s and Master’s level students.
✅ Only one entry per individual will be accepted.
✅ Essays must be written in English with a length between 500 and 1000 words.
