We are delighted to invite you to the Dujat Meets & Drinks event on Thursday, May 15, at the renowned Mauritshuis in The Hague.
Located in the historical and political heart of the Netherlands, the Mauritshuis is a world-class museum with an exceptional collection of 17th-century Dutch and Flemish masterpieces.
The museum consists of two remarkable historic buildings: the Mauritshuis, a stunning city palace, and the Prince William V Gallery. At the Mauritshuis you can admire iconic works, including Girl with a Pearl Earring by Johannes Vermeer and The Anatomy Lesson of Dr Nicolaes Tulp by Rembrandt—masterpieces that draw visitors from around the world.
The Bull: A Unique Behind-the-Scenes Experience
At the Mauritshuis, conservators are restoring The Bull by Paulus Potter, the museum’s largest painting—an extensive and meticulous process!
What does it take to restore a painting? What challenges do conservators face? And why is the process so slow and delicate? The Mauritshuis researchers will share their insights.
Step inside and experience not only the beauty of these old masters but also the craftsmanship behind their preservation.
We look forward to welcoming you for an exclusive reception of art, culture, and connection.
