[2026-04-16] Cultural Workshop with Many Truths at Amity International School

On Thursday 16 April, a cultural workshop for Dujat members was given at Amity International School Amsterdam by Masako Kato (Many Truths), and Yukiko Tatebayashi (Connect Japan).

After a tour around the impressive school building, various subjects were discussed during the workshop, such as Japanese and Dutch Communication Styles, Japanese and Dutch Consensus-Building (like Decision-Making Methods), and Japanese and Dutch Career Development Approaches.

The event was concluded with a networking reception at the school with a delicious food buffet. Thank you very much to Judith Meijer and team at Amity International School Amsterdam for the great hospitality, to Many Truths and Connect Japan for the interesting workshop, and to all who participated!

This event is for members and invitees only.

We are pleased to invite you for this year’s Cultural Workshop on Thursday 16 April. The workshop is organized to give better understanding of the communication between Dutch and Japanese culture, and will be given by our members Many Truths and Connect Japan, at Amity International School in Amstelveen.

After the workshops in 2020, 2021, and 2024, this will already be the 4th edition of this event. Working together with Dutch, Japanese and other international cultures, we understand that new questions and challenges keep coming up, which is why members often ask us to repeat this interactive event.

This workshop will be open to members who have never joined the cultural workshops before, but also to members who have experienced one or more of the past editions.

Before the workshop, we will start with an optional tour around the impressive school building of Amity International School. We will then have a short introduction of the workshop, after which we will split the group into 2 smaller groups for the breakout session.

During the plenary session, both groups will come together and share their takeaways with everyone. Of course we will conclude with networking and drinks.
