Yesterday DUJAT and members gathered together for a company visit at a really impressive location: Hitachi Construction Machinerey (Europe) in Amsterdam. With a group of almost 50 DUJAT members attended this event, including our special guest the Japanese Ambassador to The Netherlands H.E. Hiroshi Inomata.
After a nice and spectacular welcome in the auditorium, including a show that impressed us all, we enjoyed a very interesting tour around the huge factory. At the end of the tour, a delicious lunch awaited us in the beautiful showroom.
We would like to express our sincere appreciation to Hitachi for making such a great event possible, as well as to our members for your attendance, and look forward to see you all at our next event. We have got a few interesting seminars coming up, and hope to see you there!
 
Dear members of DUJAT, We are very pleased to invite you to another DUJAT company visit, on Thursday the 18th of May. Planned for us this time is a visit to the factory of Hitachi Construction Machinery (Europe), based in Amsterdam. Hitachi Construction Machinery (Europe) NV (HCME) is a subsidiary of Hitachi Construction Machinery Co., Ltd. (HCM) and is responsible for the manufacture, sales and marketing of Hitachi construction equipment throughout Europe. The company’s mission to ‘think global, act local’ is reflected in its focus on customer needs and the Hitachi brand values associated with innovation and technology. We are honored that they will take us on a tour around this innovative factory. Mr. Makoto Yamazawa (president) will be there to welcome you at the company. The programme will start at 10:00 with a warm welcome and coffee and tea, followed by a brief presentation at 10:15. From 11:00 we will start the factory tour, after which Hitachi will host a delicious lunch at the Hitachi Showroom.

Since the location is not easy to reach by public transport, DUJAT again arranges bus transport from our office location at the Prof. J.H. Bavincklaan 3, 1183 Amstelveen. You can park your car here, and we will depart together at 09:15. If you want to make use of our bus transport, please fill in accordingly on the registration form attached to this e-mail.
