[2019-02-18] Meets & Drinks at Rembrandt House Museum

On Monday the 18th of February, a nice company of around 60 Dujat members gathered at the beautiful Rembrandt House Museum. Special thanks go the museum for their hospitality, and all members who participated to celebrate the start of Rembrandt Year together at this event. We hope to see you soon at one of our next events!

Dear members of Dujat,

We are pleased to invite you to attend a special Meets & Drinks event on February 18th, at the Rembrandt House Museum in the center of Amsterdam.

The year 2019 is all about Rembrandt. The most famous Dutch master of the Seventeenth Century passed away 350 years ago.

Where better to start the Rembrandt Year than in the house where it all happened? Nowhere will you come closer to the artist, the family man, the teacher and the art dealer than in this historic place in the heart of Amsterdam. He made his most famous masterpieces here over a period of nearly twenty years, met the most interesting people and experienced his greatest loves.

In 2019 the museum will be given over to celebrations of the famous artist with a special programme in his own house. Three exhibitions will shed light on Rembrandt’s life and work from different angles and present well-known and less well-known works by the master. Starting with the exhibition Rembrandt’s Social Network which opens on 1st February and focusses on his family, friends and acquaintances.

We hope to see many of you at the event. There is limited space, so please register as soon as possible on this event website. We look forward to welcoming you on February 18th!

With kind regards,

Geert Jan Mantel, Chairman of Dujat
Christa de Kemp, Managing Director of Dujat
Lidewij de Koekkoek, Executive Director of Rembrandt House Museum
