[2019-02-21] Dujat & AKD Brexit Seminar
Brexit or no Brexit? And in case of Brexit, will it be hard or soft? On Thursday the 21st of February, these questions were highlighted during the Dujat & AKD Brexit Seminar.
From the UK, Mr. Richard Small and Mr. Harold Brako from Addleshaw Goddard LLP (UK), and from Japan, Mr. Yohsuke Higashi from Mori Hamada & Matsumoto came to tell us about the events from the perspectives of UK and Japan. Mr. Jeroen Pop from AKD, the company that hosted this seminar, explained from a Dutch point of view.
Despite the uncertainties, our speakers were able to inform us about various aspects in the upcoming Brexit or no Brexit- situation, in a both informative and entertaining way. We thank them for their insights, for coming all the way here to share them, and we also thank Mr. Erwin Rademakers for being the host of the event.
With all given information in mind, let us now wait until the 29th of March.
Dear members of Dujat,
We cordially invite you to save the date for our Brexit Seminar on 21 February 2019. The seminar will be organised together with Benelux law firm AKD.
Together, we will discuss the impact of Brexit on doing business in or with the Benelux region. AKD will focus on the legal consequences for businesses, such as the impact of Brexit on the free movement of goods, services and workers, and the challenges that we will all have to face after 29 March 2019.
The seminar will take place in the afternoon of 21 February at AKD’s Amsterdam office, the Edge.
We will send you an official invitation in January with the opportunity to register and we look forward to welcoming you on 21 February 2019.
