[2019-03-21] Visit Port of Rotterdam

Yesterday, Dujat members had the opportunity to enjoy an interesting tour at APM Terminals (APMT II) and a cruise at the Maasvlakte. Special thanks go to Port of Rotterdam for making this event possible, and to Futureland for their interesting tour. Those who were there, we hope you had a good time and look forward to seeing you at our next event!

Dujat members of Dujat,

Dujat and Port of Rotterdam are pleased to invite you for an interesting tour and cruise through Rotterdam’s newest port area, on the 21st of March.

The Port of Rotterdam has been expanded with the most modern European top location for port activities: Maasvlakte 2. FutureLand information centre is located in the centre of this port area and has views across the container terminals of the future, and this is where we will welcome you.

You can’t get any closer to a new piece of the Netherlands and a port under construction than this. Frans van Keulen, Advisor Hospitality & Events, Dept. of Communications & External Affairs at the Port of Rotterdam Authority, will tell you in detail about the activities at Port of Rotterdam.

Apart from FutureLand, we will also take a look at APM Terminals’ Maasvlakte II terminal, open since 2015, and a state-of-the-art automated facility with zero CO2 impact.

At the end of the day you can experience Maasvlakte 2 from the water on the Executive Vessel “De Nieuwe Maze”, while networking and enjoying a drink.

Date: Thursday March 21st
Time: 13:00 – 17:30
Location: FutureLand, Maasvlakte Rotterdam (view detailed location)
