Dear members and relations of Dujat,
The year 2018 has nearly come to an end. The weather is getting colder and maybe we can expect a bit of snow during the coming weeks. Winter has truly arrived in the Netherlands.
Dujat had a very successful year. We could welcome 14 important new companies this year. All companies are very welcome and help us to provide even better service than before.
This year we had a very diverse and interesting programme for you. As you already know we organize all our events in joint cooperation with our members. And for 2019 we already have our programme ready. Important seminars, interesting company visits and of course many opportunities to meet & greet for our members. The programme for 2019 is now on our website. Please mark your agenda if you are interested to join one or more events. And of course if there are any new interesting events coming up we will update the programme.
A special attention for the Dujat trip to Japan in June 2019. Last year we had a delegation list of 25 members! The Dujat office had already many members contacting us about the trip in June 2019. Beside the company visits to some of our members, we have this year again an Agricultural & Food seminar in Tokyo (organized together with NFIA and EY). We will also have a logistic seminar in Tokyo (organized together with KPMG). And we will have a reception of our Advisory Board in Japan, hosted by the Dutch Ambassador in Japan Mr. Aart Jacobi at his residence. More information will be shared with our members early next year.
Also special attention for a new event: Dujat will organize next year, Dujat’s showcase. So many members have asked us for an opportunity to present themselves to the other members. We hope this new event will meet the expectations of our members. More information will be shared with you next year.
We will close our programme in 2019 as usual with the Annual Dujat dinner in the Okura hotel Amsterdam. Date is already fixed on Monday December 9th. This year we had an all-time record of guests. Nearly 400 guests were there enjoying this festive evening. Next year we will have the presentation of the Deshima Awards again, we are very much looking forward to that. More information will be sent to you in August next year.
Last but not least you are always welcome to visit our office, if you need our help or just for a chat. We have good coffee (and tea) available. We moved in November this year to a new office, located at Stroombaan 10 in the very centre of Amstelveen. Public transport on our doorstep.
