Jip Lenstra is the Program manager at the Netherlands Energy Research Centre (ECN). He is responsible for a number of biomass and environmental programs. ECN is an energy research organization and has an important role in the development of environmental measurement technology for air pollution and greenhouse gases. Jip Lenstra has worked more than 20 years leading several divisions at the Dutch ministry of Environment. As head of the Energy department he built up policies for energy efficiency, renewable energy and CO2-storage. He also headed the Climate and the Technology and Economy department.
