Satoshi Morozumi, currently holds a position as Director, Smart community Department of New Energy and Industrial Development Organization (NEDO). In April 2006, he was transferred from Mitsubishi Research Institute, Inc.. to NEDO. He has been involved in managing renewable energy related projects, including Demonstrative Project on Grid-interconnection of Clustered Photovoltaic Power Generation Systems, Wind Power Stabilization Technology Development Project, Demonstrative Project of Regional Power Grids with Various New Energies, Demonstrative Project on New Power Network Systems, and Verification of Grid Stabilization with Large Scale PV Power Generation Systems. As from 2009, he had been in charge of setting up for Japan-US collaboration on “Smart Grid demonstration project”. Since April 2010, he has officially joined NEDO.
